All is in the title i extracted the files for spiderman web of shadows pc and i have a bin and cue file. This is my first time using this so idk how to open these types of files.
Make sure the cue and the bin files are in the same directory and load the cue file. This file is a table of contents file for the disc. It lists how long each track is and the mode the track was recorded in. RetroArch will pass this on to the emulator core, who will use it to process the files at the right time.
The .bin file is a binary copy of the CD, while the .cue file is just a text file that tells the software the format for each track and where they start. If it were my rom, I would probably convert the .bin/.cue files to a .chd file, both because it would be smaller, and it would also be a single file.
The .cue is a text file, you can check what's inside to better understand what it does. In theory, you're supposed to load the .cue, as that's the file that tells the emulator how to load the .bin files.
The third part (C:\Images\MyImage.cue) is the full path to the cue file. Note that you have to manually type the path, you cannot copy and paste the path into DOSBOX. The last part (-t iso) specifies the type of image. If you typed the command correctly it should say something like "Drive D is mounted as <path to cue file>"
So i'm using pcsx2 emulator, I downloaded digimon rumble arena and it came in a 7zip file and when extracted i got 2 files, a cue and bin file. What do I do with these?
I personally confirm that foobar2000 (for Windows) can open a CUE file as a playlist of multiple tracks, and it can convert one or more tracks to other audio file formats.
I have just installed foobar2000 to play my new album (In a folder there are over 30 flac files, a cue file and other stuff) but it couldn't play the cue file. However, it can play single or multiple flac files without any issues.
Anyway check their file size is probably the easiest, although when you drag and drop (or open it some other way) the ISO, bin, cue file onto a burner program it will usually auto choose the media type.
