You cannot manually refund items that you bought yourself. Roblox only issues refunds if the item you bought gets taken down by moderation. Make sure to be more cautious about what you buy next time.
I’m pretty sure that after that lawsuit, Roblox established its refund policies on solid foundations years ago, and now you automatically receive a refund within one week for deleted marketplace items. (Be understanding about the one-week window, because when you’re refunded, the marketplace item creators lose their pending Robux.

The process is a bit tedious for Roblox so it does take around 2 weeks (if they’re fast) to 1 month for them to realize your item got deleted and then send the refund message and then give you the actual refund.
